Buleleng or Singaraja is a small town on the northern tip of the island of Bali. Formerly Singaraja city including the bustling city and the center of life on the island of Bali. However, since the central government was moved to the south of Bali (Denpasar), then the city of Singaraja slowly but surely decline and left from Denpasar.

But despite a small town, Singaraja city that remains a very typical Balinese and very pleasant. The fresh sea, the streets are clean and attractive tourism object can be found easily in this city.

Known and recognized as the art and cultural center of Bali, Ubud is indeed a special place. Professional artists as well as would-be artists, locals and expatriates alike for years have flocked to Ubud hoping to make a name for themselves and a good living out of art. The large number of museums scattered around Ubud, is evidence to the dynamic creativity to found in Ubud. As Ubud is on a slightly higher elevation and quite hilly, the temperature is a little cooler compared to the southern tourist areas. Beautiful rice terraces climbing the steep hillside, with tropical rain forest in the river valleys provides a picturesque setting. Fine deluxe boutique hotels and villas as well as a fair amount of homestays and a wide variety of restaurants cater to every budget & life style.

The music of Bali is extremely complex and vibrant. The original purpose of music here again is to serve religious beliefs, accompanying dances or wayang theaters. The traditional Balinese orchestra, known as gamelan, is composed of various forms of percussions, with notes overlapping and criss crossing among the various kinds. There is a number of string and woodwind instruments, but most of the players, which can range from a few to several dozen, sit behind various kinds of metallophones, gongs, and xylophones.
